Person with hemophilia or von Willebrand disease accepted by an accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school.

Amount:	Two $1,000 awards

Beth Carew Memorial Scholarship

Person with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease or other inherited bleeding disorder enrolled in an accredited college.

Amount:	Ten $4,000 college awards

Bill McAdam Scholarship Fund

The scholarship is available for persons with hemophilia, von Willebrands, their partners, spouses, parents, children, siblings, or other significant family members. It is intended for post-secondary education, including college, trade or technical school, or other certification programs. The award will be given directly to the institution you plan to attend in the term beginning in the fall of 2011.

Amount:	One $2,000 award

BioRx/Hemophilia of North Carolina Educational Scholarships

Intended for caregivers of children affected with bleeding disorders, a person who has been diagnosed with hemophilia, or their sibling. Preference will be given to a hemophilia community member, parent and family members seeking healthcare related education from an accredited college or university or certified training program.

Amount:	Four $2,000 awards

Bob Hersh Memorial Scholarship

High School seniors, graduates, or students in good standing who are already enrolled in a post-secondary program, and planning to enroll in a course of study at an accredited 2 or 4 year college, university, or vocational technical school program or certified training program, with priority given to undergraduate study. A person affected directly or indirectly by Hemophilia ,von Willebrand Disease, hereditary bleeding disorder and entering a helping or teaching profession may apply for this scholarship.

Christopher Pitkin Memorial Scholarship

All members of the hemophilia and bleeding disorders community, including spouses, siblings and children.

“Education Advantage”

Individuals with hemophilia A attending university, technical school or passing GED test.

Amount:	Various awards ranging from $150 to $15,000
Deadline:	April 1, 2011 (various dates for GED assistance)

“Education is Power” Scholarship

Individuals living with hemophilia or von Willebrand disease attending college or vocational school.

Amount:	A minimum of twenty scholarships will be awarded ranging in value from $500-$2,500

“Education Factor” Scholarship

U.S. citizens with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease or factor VII deficiency and their immediate family members planning to attend an accredited college, private preparatory, graduate or vo-tech school.

Amount:	Several awards ranging from $500 to $1500

Edu-Grants (for K-12 learning assistance)

People with hemophilia diagnosed with an inhibitor or individuals with factor VII deficiency.

Amount:	Up to $500 financial award per child per year to help pay for tutors or learning assistance when students (K-12) miss a significant number of school days due to hemophilia.

Eric Delson Memorial Scholarship

Students clinically diagnosed with hemophilia or von Willebrand disease.

Amount:	One $1,500 award per year, renewable up to four years, for private high school. Three $2,500 award per year, renewable up to four years, for college or trade school.

Eric Dostie Memorial College Scholarship

Student with hemophilia or other related bleeding disorder, or a family member. Must be a US citizen and enrolled full-time in an accredited two or four year college program.

Amount:	Ten $1,000 awards

Hemophilia Federation of America

Person with hemophilia or VWD, including parents and siblings attending any accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school in the US. Also include awards for completing a visual/performing art project.

Amount:	Ten $1,500 awards

Hemophilia Health Services Memorial Scholarship Program

A US citizen with hemophilia, VWD or other bleeding disorder. Must be a high school student about to attend college, a college student, a college senior planning to attend graduate school or graduate school student.

Amount:	Several $1,500 and more awards a full academic year.

Joshua Gomes Memorial Scholarship Fund

Individuals living with HIV/AIDS accepted or enrolled in college in the US.

National Cornerstone Healthcare Services

A person diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, parent, spouse, partner, child or sibling of a person diagnosed with a bleeding disorder.

Amount:	Several $500 to $1,000 awards per year.

Professor Ulla Hedner Scholarships

Having either hemophilia with an inhibitor or FVII deficiency . Must be a high school senior, college or vocational student under the age of 23.

Amount:	From $2000 to $7000 per person per year.

Person with bleeding disorder.

Amount:	Funds are varied and limited.

Salvatore E Quinci Foundation Scholarship

Person diagnosed with hemophilia or other bleeding disorder accepted into an accredited university, college or vocational/technical school.

Amount:	Two $2,000 scholarships

Soozie Courter Sharing a Brighter Tomorrow Hemophilia Scholarship Program

A student with hemophilia A or B who is a high school senior (or has graduate equivalency diploma), college student (undergraduate or graduate) or vocational school student.

Amount:	Five $4,000 graduate study awards and twelve $2,500 undergraduate college scholarships.

Statton Family Scholarship

Students must be accepted and intending to study at Juanita College. Applicants must have been diagnosed with a bleeding/blood disorder and/or HIV/AIDS or have an immediate family member with one of the diagnosis. They must apply to the college and state in the application that they wish to be considered for the Statton Family Scholarship.

Amount:	Scholarship to Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA up to 100% of need.
Deadline:	Applications must be received by the college no later than Feb 1st for the following academic year.

Together Forward Scholarship Program

Individuals living with hemophilia or von Willebrand disease enrolled in full-time undergraduate studies at a four-year college or university.

Amount:	Four $2,500 awards.

Victory for Women Academic Scholarship for Women with Bleeding Disorders

Applicants must be female residents of the US and have a bleeding disorder (includes von Willebrand disease, hemophilia carrier or other clotting factor deficiencies).

Amount:	Two awards of $2,500.
